Scenes along the Old Florida Heritage Highway
North Florida - Alachua County - Gainesville

The 48 (forty-eight) miles of U.S. 441 and adjacent loop/spur roads just south of Gainesville provide a vista of rural countryside draped with Spanish hanging moss, cattle, state parks and historic towns.

Exploring this corridor offers access to an unusually well preserved section of Florida's natural and scenic heritage.
