Welcome to Scenic U.S. 441

Along North Central Florida...

"It is the mission of  Old Florida Heritage Highway to preserve and promote the corridor, while fostering community involvement and educating visitors on the outstanding nature and unique features of this corridor."

The Old Florida Heritage Highway is a corridor in the Department of Transportation Florida Scenic Highway Program. The Florida Scenic Highway Program was designed to showcase the outstanding cultural, historical, archeological, recreational, natural and scenic intrinsic resources along Florida's state highways.

This community-based, grass roots effort focuses on resource protection while educating travelers by "telling a story" that represents Florida lifestyles and unique intrinsic resources.

The Old Florida Heritage Highway and its loop/spur roads total approximately 48 (forty-eight) miles from State Road 441 to Alachua/Marion County line.
